I sure can. How would I post the pics up on this site?? I will take a bunch tomorow of the stock HU and the wiring in the dash for ya. I was told by the stero shop that the harness is compltely different between the 02 and the 03 and up cars. I used a Metra PN# 70-1770 wiring harness if that helps you at all. The wierd part is that the package says 1985-2004 which would mean that the stereo guy was wrong.

ah, there are three harnesses, one for the radio, which includes the power, ground, illumination, and the other is for speaker wires

there is a seperate harness that is for the sub only, but get pics, and ill let you know what you need to do

as for posting the pics, i use photobucket.

its a free site for hosting images, you can upload them, and then when they are uploaded, it will give you a link to copy and paste, right into the text box of a post

I have an 02 SVT also...

I have an 02 SVT also and i've missed my sub since my Audiophile broke and i got an aftermarket stereo.
I always thought the 3rd harness was for the steering wheel controller so i left it hanging.
I'm anxious to know how to do this also so i'm going to take a picture of the 3rd harness for you tomorrow and post it ASAP.
Another problem i'm having is i just bought a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB head unit and i just installed it today, the plastic dash adapter i was using with the last stereo fits except i can't use it because the faceplate opens downward so you can put a CD in and the adapter is keeping it from opening. Is there an adapter that fixes this problem? I asked an installer at Best Buy and he said this is a problem with Foci and VW's but he never heard of a solution.
Thanks.

Okay, I know I've made multiple posts on this already, so I probably sound like a retard. This thread has a few good pics, so that helped shed some light for me.

I have an 02 SVT, I have the black and yellow plugs (7 and 8 pin) and the 17 pin plug. That metra kit is the old school 80s/90s Ford dual plug kit. Does that mean the 02 harness just plugs into it even though they are not the same exact plugs? And what about the 17 pin plug? Is there a connector for that?

Thanks!

I took some pics of my 02 SVT harnesses today and i hope they came out ok.
The harness on the right is the one for the sub.
I'm crossing my fingers that someone can figure out how to work it so i can get my sub working again.
Thanks.

When installing a deck in a 2003 Focus SVT I was able to integrate the factory sub amp using the extra 7 pin plug from behind the factory radio. the wiring in the plug is as follows:
white/green-
yellow/brown-
white/red- amp turn on (6volts)
white/black- column control(resistance)
brown/yellow- column control (power)
white/black- pre amp output (+)
grey/black- pre amp output (-)

from your pictures, it looks as if you have the same wire colors in your sub harness, no? if so, then follow those instructions, and it should work...
