Has anyone done a mtx-75 trans swap on a spi motor?

operation trans swap has begun!

i have a 2000 spi and i just got a parts car a 2000 zx3 with a five speed mtx-75 . i belive the swap can be done because the trans has all the mounting points the Ib5 has.....its just ford did not offer the mtx-75 with the spi motor.....upgrades will be a centerforce clutch and steeda short throw shifter and redline gear oil. its time to do sum hurt on these hondas!fordtec out!

I pretty sure gigahertz did this swap to his SPI.
The Zetec and SPI have the same bell housing pattern.

swap!

Yeah ! you need a complete doner parts car to do the swap but everthing bolts rite up and what a big differance having the mtx-75 with the spi motor . Its alive now ! lol
